Nike was at that time building up their operations in Asia Pacific mainly be converting their resellers into their own operations. I assisted them in developing a corporate culture change management program that was delivered to these converted operations in China, South Korea and Japan. I initiated a weeklong strategic change management program for middle management, bringing them to better understand Nike’s business strategy in Asia. This program was known as STeP (Strive Towards Excellent Performance).
1. Set up the Regional HR operations in HK for all Asia Pacific countries including China and Japan.
2. Participated in the migration of local ownership to Nike in Korea and Japan.
3. Set up in-country HR operations in HK, Taiwan, China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore.
